About Joseph O. Walsh Jr., Esq.
I am originally from the East Coast and came to Northwest Indiana in 2002 to attend Valparaiso University. I am a three (3) time graduate of Valparaiso University with a undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, with minors in Business Administration and Public Relations. I then went on to secure my Masters of Science in Sports Administration and my Juris Doctorate in December 2010. I began work in LaPorte County as a legal intern for the LaPorte County Prosecuting Attorney in the winter of 2007 and then began work as a law clerk at a Michigan City law office in 2008 and then went on to pass the Indiana bar examination in the Spring of 2012. I was an associate attorney with that firm until July 2016, when I began my own law practice.
Prior to my departure, I began practicing criminal defense in January of 2014 and have continued to defend individuals against criminal charges since.

I view my clients’ cases from a perspective of "Does the potential resolution meet with the client’s needs, goals, and expectations for the scope of my representation?"

My office is staffed by myself, my paralegal Lesly Sanchez, and support staff. When I am not at my practice, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and dog; watching the New York Yankees and San Francisco 49ers; and experiencing and enjoying nature in Northwest Indiana at Lake Michigan.
